Government fees and professional fees
Government fees
UK application fees, any immigration health surcharge where applicable and optional services offered by the visa application centre are set by UK authorities and their appointed provider. They are paid by the applicant directly and are published on GOV.UK.
Our professional fee
Separate from any government fee, and agreed in writing before documents are collected. It covers assessment, a personalised checklist, preparation, document review and case management — not the outcome of the application.
Common application mistakes
- Choosing the visitor route when the actual purpose of travel is study or paid work
- Statements that show the balance but not the account holder's name or the full required period
- Large unexplained deposits shortly before applying, with no supporting explanation
- Leave dates in the employment letter that contradict the travel dates in the application
- A residence permit that expires soon after the intended return date
- Submitting the same file again after a refusal without addressing the stated reasons
If an application has been refused
A refusal notice states the grounds relied on. The useful next step is to read it against the file that was actually submitted, decide what can genuinely be evidenced differently, and only then prepare a new application. No service can overturn a decision, and reapplying without change rarely helps.
