Government fees and professional fees
Government fees
IRCC application fees and the biometric fee are set by the Government of Canada, paid online during the application, and published on canada.ca. The appointed visa application centre may charge its own service fee at the biometrics stage.
Our professional fee
Separate and agreed in writing before documents are collected. It covers assessment, checklist, preparation support, document review and case management, not the government fees and not the outcome.
Common application mistakes
- Preparing a full visitor-visa file when the traveller's passport only needs an eTA
- Uploading documents in the wrong slots, or as unreadable scans
- A short account of the purpose of travel with no supporting plan or evidence
- Financial evidence that does not match the stated funding arrangement
- Missing the biometrics instruction window after submission
- Treating visa validity as permission to stay for a set period, rather than the decision made at the port of entry
If a Canadian application has been refused
IRCC issues a refusal letter, and applicants may request the officer's notes through the published access-to-information channels. Reading those against the original file is the only sound basis for a new application. We assist with that review; we cannot change a decision.
