In shortFirst confirm that a B1/B2 visa fits the trip and that the official post instructions allow you to apply there. Saudi residence does not itself supply US travel permission. Prepare an accurate DS-160, retain its confirmation and check the US Mission’s live Saudi service notices before arranging an interview. Preparation from Bahrain is remote; the interview and the decision are not ours.

Gulf United Mobility is not a government body, embassy, consulate or appointed application centre. The requirements we work to are those published by the authorities below, and they may change at any time.

B1/B2 visitor visas for Saudi nationals and expatriates

B-1 covers permitted temporary business activity; B-2 covers tourism and visits, including seeing family or friends. A combined B1/B2 visa does not authorise ordinary US employment. Saudi citizens should check visitor-visa requirements; expatriates must assess their own passport nationality, existing travel permission and circumstances rather than assuming Saudi residence supplies US entry rights.

DS-160 preparation and a consistent Saudi-resident file

Prepare the DS-160 using your actual passport details, travel purpose, work history and immigration history. Save the confirmation page and follow the instructions of the post handling your application. Each traveller needing an application has their own form. You remain responsible for the answers and required signature even when someone assists with preparation.

US Department of State: DS-160 instructions

Bring the documents the official instructions request. Saudi residence evidence for expatriates, employment or business commitments, trip funding and family circumstances can help explain your situation if additional evidence is requested. Dates, employer details, host information and funding should agree with the DS-160. An invitation alone does not establish eligibility, and a large bank balance is not a guarantee.

Build a file that explains your circumstances, not just your balance

Residence and return plans

For expatriates, check the name, validity and status shown by your Saudi residence evidence. Explain recent employer changes or renewal circumstances truthfully where relevant. For citizens, evidence of ongoing employment, business, family or other commitments can explain your circumstances. These are evidence categories, not a guarantee or a universal mandatory list.

Funding and employment

Work out a realistic trip budget and identify the actual payer. Compare salary credits with the employment certificate and declared income. Explain substantial unusual deposits with genuine supporting information rather than disguising them. If a host or employer contributes, separate their contribution from your own funds. Do not move money merely to manufacture an apparent financial position.

Purpose and document quality

Set out who you will visit, intended dates, activities and accommodation. Keep the itinerary, leave dates, host information and application consistent. Upload readable documents into the correct fields and follow the authority’s translation instructions for Arabic evidence. Avoid purchasing non-refundable travel solely to strengthen an undecided application.

Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran: confirm the appointment instructions first

The US Mission in Saudi Arabia lists the Embassy in Riyadh and Consulates in Jeddah and Dhahran. The existence of a post is not proof of routine B1/B2 appointment availability. Check the Mission’s current visa-service notices and its official appointment instructions before choosing a location, paying a fee or making travel arrangements. Service interruptions can affect processing; do not rely on an older city appointment page.

US Mission Saudi Arabia: current visa notices and appointment instructions

Check the current country-of-residence or nationality instructions for your case. If Saudi appointments are unavailable, do not assume another country will accept your application or transfer your fee. We do not sell appointments or guarantee an earlier interview.

Honest interview preparation and previous refusals

Preparation means understanding your own purpose, funding, employment and return plans so you can answer clearly and truthfully. We never provide invented facts or scripts intended to conceal circumstances. A 214(b) refusal and a 221(g) request or refusal require different next steps: read the decision and follow the post’s instructions before preparing a new application.

What our remote preparation service does—and what remains yours

Gulf United Mobility operates from Bahrain and supports Saudi Arabia remotely. We do not have a Saudi office and are not an embassy, consulate, government authority or appointed visa application centre.

  • Start with destination, passport nationality, residence, purpose and intended timing—no sensitive documents in the initial enquiry.
  • We review the available preparation scope and direct you to the current official instructions for your case.
  • After onboarding, provide documents through the secure client portal; we help organise and review the agreed file and identify inconsistencies.
  • You verify the information, complete applicant declarations and attend any personally required biometric or interview appointment.
  • The relevant authority controls availability, processing and the decision. We cannot promise approval or a processing date.

The applicable published professional service fee is displayed on the corresponding service page. Government, embassy, visa application centre, biometrics, translation, courier and other third-party charges are separate; expanded services are confirmed in writing. We do not quote invented government totals or collect banking credentials.

Before submission or appointment
  • Check the route for your actual passport and purpose.
  • Use the current authority and post instructions, including any country-specific checklist.
  • Ensure residence, employment, funding and intended travel details agree.
  • Disclose the immigration history the form asks for.
  • Read all appointment or biometric instructions and confirm the current location.
  • Use genuine evidence and the required translations; keep copies of what you submit.
Your official checklist and individual circumstances govern. This guide is not a statement that your requirements have been verified or that a visa will be granted.

Send the essentials first. Destination and Saudi residence are prefilled and can be changed; sensitive documents belong in the secure portal after onboarding.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a routine interview in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dhahran now?

Do not infer availability from the post’s location. Check the current US Mission notice and official appointment system first; processing and slots can change, and we cannot guarantee availability.

Do you complete the DS-160 without my involvement?

No. We help prepare and review accurate information supplied by you. You must check the answers and complete the applicant’s required certification.

Will an invitation letter overcome a previous refusal?

Not by itself. The previous decision and your actual circumstances must be reviewed; no document or preparation service guarantees a different outcome.

Is your team based in Saudi Arabia?

Gulf United Mobility operates from Bahrain and supports Saudi Arabia remotely. We do not have a Saudi office and are not an embassy, consulate, government authority or appointed visa application centre.

Can I upload my passport or bank statements with my first enquiry?

No. The initial enquiry only asks for basic contact and travel information. Sensitive documents are collected securely after the service scope and onboarding are agreed.
